Thanh Van 1 Hotel - Hoi An

Location is excellent, just a 5 min walk from the old town. The staff were great too help with transport and tours. My room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. The swimming pool was refreshing, especially after a hot day.

Room descriptions are inaccurate on booking websites and hotel website (unless they have amended them by now) : No balcony in standard rooms and very small one in superior room. No room safe. No coffee making facilities and wi/fi very slow. Very noisy, don't expect any sleep if you have room at front. Lots of noise all day and night from traffic and local cafe next door. Can't open windows as dust will come in from unsurfaced road in front of hotel.

Quality hotel, really friendly staff and nice room plus pool. Location was good and if you want to buy clothes I would highly recomend their tailor shop which is next door, we bought clothes here and from places and found the quality to be way better here than anywhere else.

The location is perfect, just a quick walk to the Old Town where you can explore local markets and attractions like the Japanese Covered Bridge. The receptionist was knowledgeable about Hoi An and provided great recommendations for tours, which added to my experience. I especially enjoyed the small pool area, which was refreshing after a day of exploring. My stay was primarily to check out the local sights, and it couldn't have been better.

We greatly enjoyed this hotel, it was clean with an incredible and very very helpful staff. Location: the venue was next to the boats on the river as well as the river, shopping, restaurants and sights. Furthermore, very close to the centre.

kept awake all night as no sound proofing ,if you need sleep go somewhere else

The air con was great, but the bathroom layout was confusing for my family.

Super friendly staff !!! would definitely stay here again ! nice breakfast, free wifi worked fine, location in the centre so you can explore the whole city on foot. The pool is super ...certainly after a hot day in the city if in doubt...BOOK IT !! ;-)

Perfect location in Hoi An, just few minutes to the city centre and main site to visit. Wonderful breakfest next to the swimming pool. Wi-Fi for free in the room and three pc in the hall with possibility of printing for pay. You can rent a motorbike out the hotel and make a suit in the shop next to the hotel (same running) for a good price.

The room was not well clean but it was prepared in a nice way with flowers everywere, even in the wc. Our room (superior) was on the street side so it was quite noisy.

I have stayed here 3 times as location is good and with pool and price being affordable ,also available is motor bikes next door . However always shop for day tours from agents as hotels are loading the price for their end . Roger.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our large breed dog. The breakfast spread was delicious, and we loved mingling with other families during meal times.

My wife says that the air conditioning could have been stronger.

Wi-fi didn't work properly in room 2nd floor

Pool inside courtyard & building very pleasant on the eye. Lovely breakfast buffet every morning.

Avoid rooms at the front of the building as very noisy from outside traffic.
